Dr. Fred Jiang is the Director of Analytics and IoT Research Lab (AIR Lab), Intel Labs China. He is managing the research group with the goal of combining IoT systems with analytics, and creating original and innovative research based on real applications. AIR Lab focus on projects spanning several areas, including energy and environment, smart manufacturing, wearable and context-aware systems. Dr. Jiang’s primary research interests are in the areas of mobile and embedded systems, wireless sensor networks, energy monitoring and control, and environmental sensing.

Fred received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from U.C. Berkeley, advised by David Culler and Scott Shenker. Before joining Intel, he has worked in GoogleXilinx,Arch Rock (now part of Cisco), People Power, and Microsoft Research Asia.
